Independent News – Winter 2021

With the festive season almost upon us, we are pleased to bring you our Winter 2021 newsletter.

As another eventful year draws to a close, our winter newsletter looks at a range of financial planning issues that could be relevant to you and your family.

We look at the return of inflation and what that means for you and your money. We also focus on a whole range of pension and retirement issues that may affect you, from the raising of the state pension age, changes to the triple lock and the underpayment of pensions to many by the Department of Work and Pensions.

We also put forward our thoughts for those planning to retire early, and make suggestions as to when you should start thinking about pension drawdown.

In keeping with the season, we also put forward reasons why it could make sense for parents and grandparents to provide Christmas investment gifts rather than toys this Christmas.

There’s a whole host of other articles too, which we hope you find both interesting and useful.

We hope you can find time over this holiday period to reflect on financial matters and enjoy this issue of Independent News. Please feel free to download it.

As always, we are here to help and provide advice on any financial matter, so please do get in touch.

And finally, we would like to wish you all a healthy and happy 2022.
