Independent News – Winter 2023

Welcome to the Kellands winter newsletter.

2023 has been another eventful year, in which we sadly witnessed an escalation in major conflicts around the world. We all hope that there is a peaceful solution to all the current troubles as quickly as possible.

These conflicts are not only disastrous humanitarian events but are economically damaging and have unnerved financial markets throughout 2023.

On top of that, the recurring themes of high inflation and interest rates remain major influencers on the investment world. We are optimistic that we are now close to a reversal of this cycle, with interest rates now much more likely to fall than rise in 2024. This will hopefully invigorate the UK equity market which offers many attractive companies share valuations and is in much need of some positive news flow.

Our latest newsletter takes the current backdrop into perspective and has a host of articles and general tips on how to cope and plan for a better future in the current economic and market conditions. We hope you enjoy it - please feel free to read or download the newsletter by clicking on the link below.

In the meantime we would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas break and a happy and healthy 2024.
