Kellands goes back to school.

Chartered Financial Planner, Loretta Mooney proved she was top of the class this week as part of her role as Education Champion for the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII).

We were delighted to be invited to Cheadle Hulme School to speak to students about the importance of managing their finances, whilst giving them lots of tips on saving, budgeting, student finance and an introduction to employment.

The CII is a professional body with a Royal Charter dedicated to building public trust in the insurance and financial planning profession. By working alongside them to deliver this worthwhile programme Loretta hopes to inspire confidence in the next generation to manage their finances and plan for the future they aspire to. After all it’s never too early to start taking control of your finances and this programme is a fantastic way to give something back and help young people as they start their journey to adulthood and begin their careers. It might even encourage a few to join the profession!

Loretta, who is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, is one of the most experienced members of the team here at Kellands and has almost thirty years’ experience in financial services. Working closely with professional connections including doctors, dentists, lawyers and accountants she has a wealth of expertise, specialising in public sector service pensions. Get in touch with Loretta today to see how she can help you:

Thank you to all of the students that took part and we wish you all the best of luck with your future goals and aspirations!
